Roque: Reasons why Sara should accept challenge to be opposition leader

MANILA, Philippines — Former presidential spokesman Harry Roque listed several reasons why Vice President Sara Duterte should accept the challenge to become an opposition leader after her resignation from the Cabinet of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Roque said the first reason was that Duterte has the mandate of being the country's second highest elected leader and has the capabilities of a lawyer and a leader of the executive branch.
