Bishop asks for prayers to stop China incursion

DAGUPAN CITY — Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas called on the Catholic faithful to join a rosary campaign to stop China's 'insidious attempts' to 'trample our sacred shores.'

'Let us do it again! The rosary is simple and small and powerful like the mustard seed in the Gospel,' said Villegas in a pastoral letter read in all Masses in the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan last Sunday.
