Maxicare: Data breach impact minimal, limited

LESS than 1 percent of clients were likely affected by a data breach and no sensitive medical information was compromised, health care provider Maxicare said on Wednesday.

"Last June 13, 2024, Maxicare was informed of a security incident involving an alleged unauthorized access to the personal information of approximately 13,000 members," the firm said in a statement.
