US-flagged Jones Act offshore wind vessel launched

ECO Edison, the first US-flagged Jones Act offshore wind farm service operation vessel (SOV), was launched at the Port of New Orleans, marking a significant milestone in the renewable energy sector.

The ABS-classed ECO Edison, constructed by Edison Chouest Offshore (ECO), is an 80-meter-long vessel set for long-term charter to service offshore wind farms in the northeast United States.
