Nippon Foundation, Challenger 150 boost oceanic research

CHALLENGER 150 has signed a memorandum of understanding with The Nippon Foundation-Gebco Seabed 2030 Project to consolidate physical and biological ocean data from both initiatives, significantly advancing the understanding of the ocean.

Challenger 150, under the Deep Ocean Stewardship Initiative, is designed to respond to the needs of the Ocean Decade by expanding global deep-sea research, biological observations and understanding deep-sea ecosystems.
