Cebu eyes direct flight to Korea's Jeju Island

CEBU CITY — For Cebuanos who wish to visit Jeju Island, the popular tourist destination and filming location for television and movie dramas in South Korea will soon be just one flight away.

The provincial governments of Cebu and Jeju signed a memorandum of understanding on Friday to establish a direct flight between the two island provinces.
