MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila will likely experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the southwest monsoon locally known as "habagat," the state-run weather agency said on Tuesday.
Weather specialist Rhea Torres of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said, however, that the heat would still be felt, especially at noontime until mid-afternoon.
