THE Isuzu Heart and Smile Project (IHSP), an initiative of Isuzu Motors Ltd. of Japan (IML), celebrated the graduation of batch 21 from the Isuzu Tesda Auto Mechanic Training Center in Tacloban. This batch includes 17 scholars who have earned the prestigious National Competency 4 (NC 4) certification for Service Technicians. Tesda is the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.

Since its inception in 2008, the IHSP has served as a beacon of hope for underprivileged youth, offering comprehensive training from NC 1 to NC 4 over a two-year period. The program is renowned not only for its rigorous training but also for its robust support system, providing free boarding and lodging to all trainees.
