ADMITTEDLY, that's a redundant question because kaizen problem-solving requires giving only low-cost, common-sense solutions. If you'll spend money for the solution, then that's not kaizen. Here's one example with a client that was spending $125 monthly average for the cost of regular bar soaps for its 10 toilets.

To some people, $125 monthly is not much. But, they're missing the point. Toyota, with almost a total value of $300 billion as of May 2024, even up to this day, is in the thick of saving several cents worth of bolts and nuts, among other things. If Toyota is doing it, then why can't you?
