(UPDATE) TRYING to qualify for the Paris Olympics through the Universality Rule, Filipino tanker Heather White competes at the Mel Zajac International in Vancouver, Canada on June 21 as she hopes to bump up her FINA points.
"It is recognized as an official meet that [a swimmer] could qualify for the Olympics. I'm just trying to hopefully increase my FINA points especially in the 50 freestyle that's where I have the most potential to qualify in," said White in an interview with The Manila Times.
