THE new film by Philippine-born filmmaker Isabel Sandoval, "Moonglow," has wrapped up principal photography. Also the director, writer and editor of the full-length feature, Sandoval plays a jaded female police detective. Her co-star, Filipino actor-politician Arjo Atayde, portrays an obsessively truth-seeking detective partner investigating the same heist she covertly orchestrated.

Set in Manila in the 1970s, "Moonglow" is produced by Alemberg Ang and Sylvia Sanchez, with Isaac Banks as director of photography, Remton Siega Zuasola as production designer and Keegan Dewitt as the musical scorer. The Filipino-language crime thriller is a co-production of Daluyong Studios and Nathan Studios, Japan's Yaman Films Co. Ltd., and Singapore-based Momo Film Co.
