Valenzuela City's elderly urged to get anti-pneumonia shot

MANILA, Philippines — Valenzuela City Mayor Weslie 'Wes' Gatchalian on Monday urged senior citizens to get free anti-pneumonia shots, saying the disease is one of the leading causes of mortality among the elderly.

'I am urging our senior citizens, who must have their anti-pneumonia shots, to take advantage of the free vaccine roll-out that is being initiated by the local government,' the mayor said.
