THE Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 5 (DSWD-5) continues to keep track on the status of the survivors and relatives of the victims of the fishing boat that caught fire due to an explosion while traveling from Masbate to a fishing spot in Daang-Bantayan on June 5.

'The DSWD is greatly saddened by the incident. We extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the casualties. Rest assured that the agency will help them during this difficult time,' DSWD Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao said on Thursday.
