Avoiding China's baiting tactics in the West Philippine Sea

TOMORROW, June 15, the China Coast Guard (CCG) starts enforcing a directive to detain foreign nationals who intrude into waters of the West Philippine Sea which China claims to be part of its domain.

The new regulation scales up Beijing's campaign to assert its domination of the South China Sea and further heightens the already volatile situation in the strategic waterway.
