Pagcor says alien crime syndicates are real threats, not POGOs

THE Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) said alien hacking and scam syndicates are the real threat to national security, not legitimate and licensed Philippine offshore gaming operators or POGOs.

Pagcor Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alejandro Tengco said legitimate Internet Gaming Licensees or IGLs generate funds for the government, contributing more than P5 billion to Pagcor's gross revenues in 2023.
