MANILA, Philippines — The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KoJC) claimed that the operations carried out by the Philippine National Police (PNP) to arrest its leader, Apollo Quiboloy, were "illegal and carried out with unnecessary and unrestrained force" based on closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage.
In a statement published on the group's website and later shared on social media on Thursday, the KoJC said that the PNP, in serving an arrest warrant for Quiboloy and five others, hit them with a water cannon.
