Marcos says Filipinos will defend territory

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Independence Day said that Filipinos would never shy away from defending the nation's territory, stressing that real power is measured through the reason of what the people are fighting for.

In his speech during the 'Parada ng Kalayaan [Freedom Parade] 2024' at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila, the President urged Filipinos to honor their forefathers' sacrifices by protecting the nation and drawing strength from their heroic past.
