PBA slaps P20k fine each on Vucinic, Trillo

MANILA, Philippines — The PBA cracked the whip after slapping separate P20,000 fine each on Meralco active consultant Nenad Vucinic and head coach Luigi Trillo after charging at the game officials at the end of Meralco's 95-94 loss to San Miguel in Game 2 of their PBA Philippine Cup Finals.

League rules state that coaches and players should automatically head to their team dugout after the game. But Vucinic and Trillo were seen going after separate referees at the end of Game 2, which saw Meralco blow a four-point lead late in the game.
