ILOILO CITY — The newly constructed Paliwan Bridge in Bugasong, Antique was reopened to motorists on Thursday, nearly a year and a half after it was damaged.

The two 25-linear-meter spans of the bridge collapsed when the province was battered by Severe Tropical Storm "Paeng" in October 2022. The bridge connects Laua-an town in the north and Bugasong town in the south.
