THE Philippines showcased its domestic shipping and shipbuilding industries at a workshop in Athens, Greece, organized by the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Greek-Asean Business Council.

Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) Administrator Sonia Malaluan highlighted new opportunities under the revised Public Service Act, which now allows 100 percent foreign ownership in ship ownership, operation and shipbuilding.
