Brown boosts bid with gold in Canada

(UPDATE) FILIPINO American hurdler Robyn Brown boosted her Paris Olympics bid after claiming a gold medal in the Royal City Inferno Track and Field Festival women's 400m hurdles at the Alumni Stadium in Guelph, Canada.

Brown clocked 57.15 seconds as she defeated home bets Marie-Frederique Poulin (58.07) and Reyne Rodrigues (58.94), who claimed the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
