Rama: Issue with governor must be resolved fairly

CEBU CITY — Malacañang may have dismissed Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama's petition to place Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia under preventive suspension but the former said the issue is far from resolved.

Rama, who has been suspended by the Ombudsman since May 8, said that his team has received a copy of the decision signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., dismissing his request to suspend Garcia for alleged meddling in City Hall affairs.
