PRC mobilizes food truck, water tankers amid Kanlaon eruption

THE Philippine Red Cross (PRC), upon orders of Chairman and CEO Richard Gordon, has mobilized a food truck and two water tankers to Negros Occidental, the province severely affected by the eruption of Mount Kanlaon.

On June 4, a day after the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) raised Alert Level 2 due to Mount Kanlaon's 'moderately explosive eruption,' the PRC swiftly deployed its food truck from its regional chapter in Negros Occidental.
