BCDA says no garbage crisis amid contract expiration of Kalangitan landfill

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) assured there will be no impending garbage crisis in Central Luzon despite the xpiration of the Kalangitan sanitary landfill contract in October.

BCDA Chairman Delfin Lorenzana said three alternative facilities in Pampanga with a combined capacity of 11,000 metric tons per day to meet the region's needs.
