ABOUT 1,000 residents in Bamban, including local officials and youth organizations, staged a prayer rally in support of Mayor Alice Guo who continues her battle involving her background and the controversial Philippine offshore gaming operators.
Among those who attended the event on Saturday were members of the municipal council, religious leaders, Association of Barangay Councils and Sangguniang Kabataan officials, Kakuka youth organization, Kabamban, and hundreds of residents.
