DoST vows support for MSMEs

BUTUAN CITY — The Department of Science and Technology (DoST) has vowed to continue supporting and encouraging micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to embrace new technology and develop their entrepreneurial abilities toward improving their operational effectiveness, increasing productivity, and strengthening the competitiveness of their products and services.

The DoST made the statement in recognition of the role of MSMEs in driving innovation, creating employment opportunities, and fostering economic growth in the country through the agency's Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (Setup).
