SC junks quitclaims defrauding workers

MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court (SC) has nullified a set of quitclaims after finding that the employer tricked its employees into signing the waivers.

In a decision, the court's Second Division found that Corporate Protection Services, Phils., Inc. (CORPS) constructively dismissed a number of its employees who were hired as security guards.
