Imee: Tariff cut weird solution to rice crisis

SEN. Imee Marcos has criticized the government's proposal to lower the rice tariff from 35 percent to 15 percent as an 'ill-conceived' solution to the rice crisis in the country.

On Thursday, the senator described the move as a 'ham-fisted' solution to bring down the high cost of rice for consumers.
