Cabuyao players shine in chess tournaments

Two chess players from Cabuyao City stamped their class by winning recent face to face and online tournaments on Wednesday.

Woman National Master (WNM) Jersey Marticio ruled the 2024 National Age Group Chess Championships - U18 Girls Elimination FIDE rated tournament in Dumaguete City even as Rey Julius Taguba broke the 2000 barrier to complete his online Arena Grandmaster (AGM) title status via the online platform.
