Palaro budget reduced by P138M

CEBU CITY — Acting Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia announced a major budget reduction for next month's Palarong Pambansa after cutting P138 million from the proposed budget for the annual sporting event for elementary and secondary student-athletes.

Following a thorough review, the Cebu City government has trimmed the budget down to P262 million, marking a 34.5 percent decrease from the original allocation of P400 million.
