THE stock market fell back to the 6,300 level on Tuesday, and the peso also hit a new 19-month low following renewed worries about inflation and key interest rates.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi shed 84.32 points, or 1.30 percent, to P6,386.42. The broader All Shares fell by 0.92 percent, or 32.01 points, to 3,439.04.
