MANILA, Philippines — The country's aviation regulator announced on Tuesday that flights arriving and departing from Bacolod-Silay Airport were canceled due to a phreatic explosion of Kanlaon Volcano.
Airline station managers informed the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) that "afternoon flights may resume, depending on the situation/update on Mt. Kanlaon's volcanic activity."
