THE British Chamber of Commerce Philippines expressed its support to the House of Representatives' adoption of the Senate's version of the Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act. Having been approved by both Houses, the British Chamber expected its quick passage into law.
In line with this advocacy, the British Chamber also supported the statement of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to prioritize cybersecurity measures as recommended by the Private Sector Advisory Council Digital Infrastructure Group last year. These measures included the Cybersecurity Act, Anti-Mule Act and Online Site Blocking Act.
