MANILA, Philippines — THE easterlies will bring warm, humid weather in most parts of the country amid the onset of the rainy season, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.

The winds that come from the east and pass through the Pacific Ocean are affecting Metro Manila and the rest of the country, weather specialist Grace Castaneda said in a 5 a.m. report.
