ALMA Group unhappy with Magna Carta omission of provision on 'ambulance chasing'

MANILA, Philippines — The Association of Licensed Manning Agencies (ALMA) Maritime Group expressed concern over the ratified Magna Carta of Seafarers, which excludes a provision addressing 'ambulance chasing.'

In a statement, ALMA said that addressing ambulance chasing is crucial for the Philippines to remain a major source of seafarers for the global fleet.
