MANILA, Philippines — Filipino boxer Carlo Paalam is making his second straight Olympic Games, after he defeated his Indian opponent at the semifinals of the 2nd Olympic Qualifying Tournament at the Hua Mak Indoor Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday night.
The Olympic silver medalist defeated India's Sachin Siwach via unanimous decision of the men's 57-kilogram category.
