TACLOBAN CITY — Mayor Alfred Romualdez clarified the current situation in the city, particularly the presence of police personnel and large vehicles at Remedios T. Romualdez (RTR) Plaza which was rumored to block the peace rally of former president Rodrigo Duterte's group.

'Last Friday, there were power outages in the city, and a group of robbers took advantage of a jewelry shop, so we are addressing the situation to seek for them in the presence of police personnel,' Romualdez explained at a media interview on Wednesday, where he also revealed CCTV proof.
