ILOILO CITY — The Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association Inc. (Philreca) has urged the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) to expedite the approval of provisional authority for electric cooperatives (ECs) to enter into emergency power supply agreements (EPSAs).
Philreca made the statement amid the increase in electricity bills due to the surge in generation costs at the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM).
