Escudero firm vs people's initiative

(UPDATE) SENATE President Francis Escudero said on Tuesday that he would not support the people's initiative (PI) seeking to modify the 1987 Constitution.

'A people's initiative for a unified Congress vote, absolutely not,' Escudero, a known critic of Charter change, said in a radio interview.
