SEVEN manufacturers of basic commodities have declared a voluntary 60-day price freeze to mitigate the impact of weather disturbances in the country, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) said.
"We have a voluntary price freeze from seven manufacturers of various products, meaning they will not increase prices for the next 60 days," said Trade Assistant Secretary Amanda Nograles on Tuesday.
