MOL Group installs wind propulsion on new ships

MOL Group (Mitsui O.S.K. Lines) and its subsidiary MOL Drybulk are committed to reducing their environmental impact. They recently announced plans to install wind propulsion systems on seven new vessels, including the innovative Wind Challenger.

MOL successfully tested the Wind Challenger on an existing ship, the Shofu Maru. The results were promising, with a potential fuel consumption reduction of up to 17 percent.
