MANILA, Philippines — Jia De Guzman sees the silver lining after Alas Pilipinas fell short of its finals bid in the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) 2024 Challenge Cup.
Surrounded by 5,500 spectators in the knockout semis match against Kazakhstan, the Philippines came short and absorbed a straight-set defeat, 23-25, 21-25, 14-25, last Tuesday, May 28, at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
