BULACAN Gov. Daniel Fernando has urged the people of Bulacan to value and respect the Philippine flag as the province joined the commemoration of the National Flag Days starting with the flag raising ceremony held in front of the provincial capitol on Tuesday.

'The national flag is not just a piece of cloth, It is a sacred symbol of the Filipino ideals and traditions, representing sovereignty as a nation,' Fernando said. 'Bulacan, one of the eight provinces that triggered the Philippine Revolution, will continue to show the spirit of heroism and love to our mother country.'
