Former Philippine national women's volleyball team player Jaja Santiago raved about the potential of the Alas Pilipinas lineup composed of a mixture of veterans and youthful players.

Santiago, who's undergoing Japanese naturalization to play for Japan's national team, said that the Alas team competing at the AVC Challenge Cup can go places like in the Volleyball Nations League or even the Olympics.

Alas swept Pool A, 4-0, defeating Taiwan, 25-13, 25-21, 25-18, on May 26 and will face Kazakhstan in the semifinals on May 28. VIDEO BY NIEL VICTOR MASOY
