Marcos signs law on natl resources accounting

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed into law a measure mandating an accounting of all the country's natural resources.

Signed on May 22, Republic Act (RA) 11995, or the Philippine Ecosystem and Natural Capital Accounting System (Pencas) aims to recognize, protect, and promote the ecological balance and resilience of the country, Malacañang said over the weekend.
