THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) said it would look into complaints raised by customers to a consumer advocacy group against a discount store for alleged sanitary issues and noncompliance with business regulations.
"The FTEB (Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau) will look into the matter and take appropriate action to ensure Dali's compliance with the Consumer Act, particularly the provision against deceptive or unfair practices," wrote lawyer Fhillip Sawali, director of DTI-FTEB to lawyer Simoun Antonio Salinas, spokesman of Malayang Konsyumer, who raised the issue with the agency.
