The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) and St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) — through facilities in Quezon City and Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig — joined hands at a memorandum of agreement (MoA) signing ceremony to streamline the provision of blood products to Filipinos in dire need of blood. PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Richard Gordon, PRC Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang, and PRC Assistant Secretary General for Programs Development and Services Christie Monina Nalupta signed the MoA with SLMC President and CEO Dennis Serrano and Assistant Chief Medical Officer Anthony Perez at the SLMC facility in BGC. In addition to blood, SLMC vowed to provide PRC’s other humanitarian offerings such as the Membership Accident Assistance Benefits program, the emergency field hospital and the welfare programs.
