Filipino-American gymnast Emma Malabuyo punched her ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics after emerging as the highest eligible ranked athlete in the Women's Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships all-around event in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Friday evening, May 24.

Malabuyo, a student athlete of University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), placed third in the all-around event with 50.398 points for the bronze medal. Her score, however, is the highest among Olympic eligible hopefuls and she was awarded with an Olympic ticket.
