British School Manila launches solar panel system

BRITISH School Manila (BSM) hits a milestone in its sustainability journey with the recent inauguration of the first stage of its solar electricity system with the City of Taguig and the Department of Energy (DoE).

School head Martin van der Linde said the inauguration of the plant marked the first of many planned phases to have full sustainable solar energy coverage across the entire school campus.

British School Manila, founded in 1976, is the oldest and only nonprofit international school in Manila, offering a British education for students from Nursery up to Year 13. PHOTO FROM BSM WEBSITE
