A SOLAR-POWERED irrigation system will be established in parts of Nueva Vizcaya in partnership with the OceanaGold Philippines Inc. (OGPI).
The project will provide a reliable water supply for corn and vegetable farming areas across lowland municipalities, utilizing solar energy to power the irrigation systems. It will be funded by OGPI through its Provincial Development Fund amounting to P14 million and will be initially implemented in the towns of Solano, Quezon and Villaverde.
